A column ruler would be very helpful as well. And I would like to see a way to customize the Open and Save As dialogs.

Thanks.

I understand what a column ruler is, but what would you want it for - formatting?
It would be great if you could describe a scenario where this would benefit you.

BTW, there is a Row and Column display in lower right section the status bar.

What is it that you would like to customize in the File Open and Save As Dialogs?

I would use a column ruler to make sure all my indents were aligned properly. I have to admit, I had missed the column indicator in the status bar until you pointed it out. Thanks.

Mostly I'd like to be able to define a default Save folder other than My Documents or the folder the script was opened from. In addition I'd like to be able to change the locations in the "Places Bar". I have customized the Places Bar for my system so it's obvious that you are not using the standard common dialog box. That's cool but I'd like to be able to customize the one you are using.

Thanks.

Please take a look at my post in this related thread:

I'm not sure yet what this means for the "Places Bar", but will certainly check that.
